Mobile Responsive Website
Bridgewater High School wanted to refresh their existing website and move away from the content management system they were using. All the copy and text needed transferring over to the new website but they wanted to give the site a new structure.
Firstly we had to create a completely new sitemap that would function well and make it easy for a user to navigate. The most important aspect of this website was to make it user friendly for parents, pupils and staff to find the information they require. We updated the design to reflect their latest branding and brought them inline with other local schools.
We created a user management system that allowed different users to have different permissions, meaning some users had more controls than others. Staff were set up with profiles that would allow them to write and publish news and events. A group of pupils were set up with profiles that allowed them to write news articles but not allow them to publish them, this enabled the school to be able to monitor the process and guarantee that all articles were correctly written.
